Google and Apple
Sign up with either and you're straight in. There's no password to set and nothing to verify, because the provider has already done it.
Signing up with an email address requires verification. We send a one-time code to that address and you enter it to confirm the account. If the code doesn't arrive, check the spam folder before requesting another.
Use the same method every time
Signing up with Google and later trying to sign in with the same address by email creates confusion, because those are separate sign-in routes. Pick one at signup and keep using it. If you're locked out of the method you used, that's covered here.
