Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel a MagicShot subscription and what happens when you do. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. Cancellation is about stopping future billing; refunds of past charges are governed by the Refund Policy.

The short version

You can cancel at any time, no reason needed. Cancellation stops the next charge. It does not end your current period early. You keep full access to your plan and remaining credits until the end of the period you have already paid for.

How to cancel

Subscribed on the website (magicshot.ai or app.magicshot.ai): go to your account's billing settings and select cancel. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation and the date your access ends. If you do not receive a confirmation email, the cancellation may not have gone through, so check your billing settings or contact us.

Subscribed through the Apple App Store: subscriptions purchased through Apple are managed by Apple. Cancel in your device's Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. We cannot cancel an Apple-billed subscription on your behalf.

Subscribed through Google Play: open the Play Store, then your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. We cannot cancel a Google-billed subscription on your behalf.

When to cancel

Cancel any time before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. The renewal date is shown in your billing settings and in your original purchase email. Charges that go through after a confirmed cancellation are refunded in full under the Refund Policy. Renewal charges made because a subscription was not canceled before the renewal date are not automatically refundable.

What happens after you cancel

• Access: your plan stays fully active until the end of the current billing period. Nothing changes until then.
• Credits: you can keep using your remaining credits until the period ends. When it ends, unused credits from that period expire and have no cash value, unless your plan states otherwise.
• Your content: your gallery and generations stay in your account. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or your content. If you want that, see deleting your account in the docs.
• Re-subscribing: you can start a new subscription at any time. New-subscriber promotional pricing may not apply to returning subscribers.

Cancellation vs. account deletion

Canceling stops billing but keeps your account and content. Deleting your account removes the account and its content, subject to the retention exceptions in our Privacy Policy for content flagged or removed under our content policies. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel an Apple-billed or Google-billed subscription, so cancel it through Apple or Google first or the charges will continue.

Cancellation by MagicShot

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Service. Accounts terminated for violations are not entitled to a refund of subscription fees or credits, as set out in the Refund Policy.
