Monthly credits don't roll over. They reset at the start of each billing cycle, and whatever you didn't spend in the previous cycle is gone.
So the plan to pick is the one that matches a normal month for you, not your busiest one.
Credits returned for failed generations
A failed generation doesn't cost you anything. When the service can't return a usable result, the credits are returned to your balance automatically, normally within minutes.
A generation counts as delivered once the service returns a usable result. If you don't like the result, that's not a failure, and the credits stay spent. If credits weren't returned after a genuine failure, email support@magicshot.ai within 7 days of the charge.
Unused credits and refunds
Credits have no cash value and can't be redeemed for money. Canceling a plan doesn't convert an unused balance into a refund. The separate question of refunding a charge is covered in requesting a refund.
