Halloween Glow-Up is a spooky photo edit challenge run by MagicShot, the all-in-one AI studio for images, video and voice. Anyone with a free MagicShot account can enter. You upload a real photo of yourself, your friends or your pet to Image Editing, describe a Halloween makeover, publish the result as a public template and add it to the challenge. Entries open on October 20, 2026 and close on Halloween, October 31.

What to make

Turn the photo into something from a Halloween night: a Victorian ghost in a haunted manor, a neon zombie, a witch under a blood moon or a classic monster reimagined. Swap the background, add fog, fangs, face paint or a full costume, but keep the subject recognizable. Entries must be made with Image Editing after the challenge opened, and each person can enter up to three times.

How the winners are chosen

Voting opens when entries close. Every member gets one vote and can move it until voting ends on November 3. The 10 most-voted entries make the shortlist, and the MagicShot judges pick the three winners from it. First place wins 75,000 credits, second place 20,000 and third place 5,000: 100,000 credits in total, added to the winners' accounts.
