What is Kling 4.0?
Kling 4.0 is the newest video model from Kling AI, the video unit of Kuaishou. Kuaishou launched it on October 15, 2026, as the follow-up to Kling 3.0. It runs inside MagicShot, so you write a prompt or upload a photo in your browser and skip the API setup.
Up to 30 seconds in one take
Many AI video models stop at 5 to 15 seconds. Kling 4.0 generates up to 30 seconds in a single pass, so a setup, a camera move and a payoff can sit in the same clip. Kuaishou says it holds up better on fast action and complicated camera moves than earlier Kling models. That is the company's claim, so test it on your own shots.
Stereo sound and lip sync in the same render
Kling 4.0 produces two-channel stereo audio together with the video, so you are not hunting for a soundtrack afterward. Kuaishou also lists improved lip sync and wider language and accent support, which matters when a character has to speak a line on camera.
Steer the shot with keyframes
The model accepts up to 10 keyframe images in one generation. Use them to pin where a shot starts, what it passes through and where it ends, then add a detailed prompt for the motion in between. The result follows your storyboard instead of improvising one.
Specs and best uses
Kling 4.0 makes clips of up to 30 seconds with stereo audio and supports up to 10 keyframes. On Kling's own platform it also offers Omni Reference and video editing. On MagicShot it runs in Text to Video and Image to Video, and which controls you see depends on the tool you open.
It suits story-driven ads, character scenes, product moments with a spoken line, and any shot that needs room for a long camera move. For quick loops and drafts, a shorter clip is usually enough.
